Unfortunately, as a writer, it is easy to commit them too. haha Chantel Rhondeauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12796339007150166408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9101775480882738468.post-22063615247410474772014-07-23T14:50:56.979-05:002014-07-23T14:50:56.979-05:00Hi Denise, What a great post. I also get annoyed when the writer says something like, "That was before she knew what would happen to her next." or something like that. It pulls me out of the story. I want to stay in the story with the protagonist.

Thanks for an interesting post. Come see me sometime on my blog!JoanCurtishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16224850170022507851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9101775480882738468.post-83929764575199193682014-07-22T19:13:43.523-05:002014-07-22T19:13:43.523-05:00Gee, you must have read my thoughts when you wrote...Gee, you must have read my thoughts when you wrote this post. Your pet peeves and mine almost coincide exactly. The only peeve I'd add is when a character acts so stupid, I want to smack them upside the head. Really? You're having sex while someone is shooting at you? Or having a conversation to settle normal fears is beyond a normally feisty heroine? Just doesn't work for me. Thanks for the post!Ashantayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16122891967983778466noreply@blogger.com
